Running for Israel - Get Pledges and Have Fun!

I LOVE this concept and haven’t tried it yet but hope it will help communities raise money for Israel in a fun way.  If you like to run marathons or half marathons you can contact this group and let them know about the race.

They’ll post the race on their web site and set up their site so you can use it to raise money for Israel.  What an amazing way to get a team of friends together to do something fun and support Israel.

HaUlpan San Diego

This Ulpan is offered by San Diego local Yehudit HaLevy. She is a long time educator who has worked in many local schools and been involved in drafting curriculum as well.  She teaches a formal Ulpan - Israeli style.  But, also offers multiple programs connected to Judaism and Religion including assisting with conversion for those who may be seeking such things.

I have met Yehudit and she has a sincere love for teaching and enthusiasm for sharing Hebrew and Israel with the community.  I have not participated in her programs but share her web site with you here.

60 Israeli Degalim

Not to be missed, this is an artful representation in the form of Israeli flags that move and dance to tell the story of all the things we love about Israel - as a people, as a country, as a home.

The Hebrew version is here - You do have to click on the flag to get it going - in firefox for me that’s all I had to do.  (Read below the flag it says - "lechatz…" - "click" to get it started)
